The Magnetics - Lady In Green
That one came over to the UK as well when Martin sold up. It's one thing finding a copy, but it's hard to find one that doesn't hiss, or have cracks. The one that just sold sounded ok.

The Dip On Ebay
If it's a 1970 press, would guess it was aimed at sales in east L.A. Ady. Don't forget that area had taken this sound as 'their' sound at that time. Look at the output from Memory Pain, Good Old Gold, Groovey Disc, Lost Nite, etc. Re-issuing (booting) sounds from the 50's/60's for the Latino population in E.L.A. It also fitted in with the Low Rider scene. You can sometimes pick up these records, mint old stock, in record shops in that area as it's still popular there today. I will never forget the first time I stayed at a mates place down Whittier Blvd a few years back, we sat in his back yard late on a Friday night & the air was filled with the sounds of group ballads from the likes of Thee Midniters, then the occasional 'crack, crack', followed by me saying "oh, someones got some fireworks!" But Sunday night was dead quiet, they're a religious lot !

Lost Souls - Secret Of Mine
There's two presses of this 45. The more common one has the dips/ridges on the label, some of this press were pressed a tiny bit off centre. The rarer one (pressed on a different vinyl) doesn't have these ridges.

Young Bros On Ebay
Not everyone likes the 'Baby' side (personally I love it) but when ever it gets played at Stewartby it empties the floor. So, if the person that won the second copy (at $1,169.00 less than the first one) only likes the "What's your game" side, then surely they're onto a winner? I know they were both only VG- but the "WYG" side sounded pretty good on both copies. After all these years "What's your game" still hasn't fully broken, but surely that's only down to a lack of play? Brilliant record i.m.h.o.

Can anyone help me with an upto date value on this, please, in mint- condition. Thought it was about £75 but sure I saw something on here recently indicating it's gone up a bit ? Many thanks.
