As usual it's a quality mix of tunes from 60s to new releases with free admission in a relaxed and friendly boozer that serves real ales, craft beers, ciders, gins etc.

    The F.A.B. crew this month comprises of Scott Taylor, The Soul Twins, Lee Wilson and special guest Bernard Heap playing the best in soul music from the 60s to the present day between 4 and 11pm with free admission.
  4. The F.A.B. regulars Alan Darker, Scott Taylor, The Soul Twins and Lee Wilson are joined by our special guest Frank Manley between 4 and 11pm. As usual it will be a mix of quality tunes across the decades in a relaxed setting with real ales, craft beers, gins etc. all at pub prices.
  5. The F.A.B. regulars Alan Darker, The Soul Twins and Lee Wilson are joined by special guest Paul Henshaw for this month's selection of quality soul music ranging from 60s through to new releases. As usual admission is free and there's a great selection of real ales, craft beers, gins, spirits and wine at pub prices. A chilled out, relaxed Sunday vibe is guaranteed between 4 and 11pm.

The Fish Ain't Bitin' collective of Alan Darker, Scott Taylor, Jeff & Stu Parish aka The Soul Twins and Lee Wilson are back with the usual mix of high quality soul music ranging from 60s to new releases. However, as a one off, we're being let out of our regular haunt and are heading down to Blackjack Brew Tap for an Easter Sunday extravaganza from 1pm through to around 9pm. The weather looks fine for this outdoor event, there are excellent real ales, craft beers, wine, spirits and a food truck so come down for some fun in the sun.
  7. Our monthly residency returns with regulars Alan Darker, The Soul Twins and Lee Wilson joined by special guests Gary Bratchford and Matt Walsh playing the best in soul music across the decades between 4 and 11pm. It's free admission, there are real ales and craft beers.

Chill out between 4 and 11pm with a real ale or craft beer in a relaxed pub environment while listening to some of the best soul music ever made, and it's free admission.
  9. Resident DJs Alan Darker, Scott Taylor, Jeff Parrish and Lee Wilson are back with the usual selection of top quality soul music from across the decades. Admission is free, there's a great selection of craft and real ales and it's a relaxed pub environment perfect for a Sunday chill out session.
  10. Resident DJs Alan Darker, Scott Taylor, The Soul Twins and Lee Wilson are joined by our very special guest Eddie Hubbard for what promises to be a real Christmas cracker. As such we're starting an hour earlier at 3pm going through to an 11pm finish with top quality soul music across the decades. As usual there's a superb selection of craft beers and real ales in a cozy pub environment.

The event kicks off at 4pm and runs till 11pm featuring the best in quality soul music across the decades. There are real ales and craft beers and admission is free. The Smithfield Tavern is on Swan Street, Manchester M4 5JZ which is a couple of doors along from Band on the Wall.
