Is The Ronnettes not a totally different song? It's a Phil Spector original - Jackie Trent is a cover of The Turtles, at least The Turtles was the pop version I heard first... ?
  2. THE JELLYBEANS "You Don't Mean Me No Good" clocks in at 1.45 - pretty short...

  6. Hey Shaun, Thanks for the offer - but it's the record I'm after. And thanks to everyone else for flagging up the ebay auction...
  7. Aye, got that - bizarre record!
  8. No, no - nothing to see here, move along now... [*probably!]
  9. Would everyone stop bigging up Dana? I'm TRYING to locate a record here!!!!
  10. Okay, everyone round here hates white pop records. Anyone got this in their sh*te box they want to part with? Any PMs much appreciated... DANA GILLESPIE "You Just Gotta Know My Mind" (Decca F 12847 - 1968) Thanking you in advance...

Yes, I know - that's what I was talking about... the question is - would you rather take £300 form Trouble or £75 from me? Tricky choice, I'm sure...

Can I have a copy for £75??? [too slow off the mark last time...]
  13. Ha! So, at what point does this become "existence unconfirmed"? Can anyone else shed any light on this???
  14. Aye, when you can understand a word, he's got a great voice: "get on the floor noo, ya f**kers..."
  15. Well, he's got the same info that I have i.e. what's in the Record Collector Price Guide. No label scan though, and you've not seen one... Mr. Manship? Mr. Smith?
  16. After putting a wanted post up for: CHOSEN FEW "Funky Butter" (UK Action ACT 4623) ...most replies seemed to be that nobody had ever seen one. Well, does it exist? Has anyone got one filed away neatly* in a complete run of Action 7"s? [*especially one that they want to flog me? Shameless, I know... ]
  17. Right, might need to take this over to "Look At Your Box" to see if it actually exists...
  18. Hmmmm, anyone ever actually SEEN one????
  19. Err, not what I was wanting to hear!!!
  20. Already have that Five Miles Out - nice record... Anyone help with Chosen Few???
  21. I'm collecting later titles on the Action label (i.e. NOT the red and yellow swirly ones!) - and am in particular looking for: CHOSEN FEW "Funky Butter" (UK Action ACT 4623) Oddly, lots of Action promos seem to have the same track on both sides (usually the wrong one e.g. Tom Green) - so I'd prefer a regular issue. Any other interesting items considered. PMs please - thanks in advance...
  22. Original's on Jazzman's site for £150 - don't think you're likely to find copies elsewhere since nearly all copies came from him. Amazing record...
  23. DOWN TO FIFTY QUID - might as well stick them in my jukebox...
  24. Now reduced to £55 - c'mon, that's less than £4 a record!
