  1. Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Sold the house. Got divorced. If anyone remembers- it got weirder The warehouse I was in is torn down. Moved the "stuff" to a 10' x 40' and a 10 x 30' . The 30' was a one month free deal- so I filled the 40' completely, along with a small garage at my folks house. My mind might be weak, but my back is getting pretty strong I missed stopping by- hope everyone is well- Mark. Ps - I may have asked before - I don't remember a lot of lps being discussed hear. Any artists +/ titles I should be looking for? Do any of the V/A from particular labels have interest? Thanks again -m Ps2 - that ice 45 looked kind of familiar.
  2. I didn't add to the ebay stuff yet, but did relist the ones that didn't fly- end your sunday night around 7-8pm GMT- thanks. Ps- I have some more coming- I just have to get my dishwasher off of soul source to do some cleaning
  3. Hi everyone- is this familiar to anyone? thanks-M
  4. About an hour to go on the valentines- you really didn't want to bid on it, did you?
  5. Just wondering- do non picture sleeves add to value when you are buying or bidding on a disc? And is it worthwhile to sell non picture sleeves only? Tia-m
  6. So if I said- I didn't look up the yum yums because I thought it was a group like the archies, bernie williams I somehow thought was related to the baseball player, and thought the ad-libs was too silly of a name to look up- would you hold it against me? Anyone else flush stuff they didn't know at the time?
  7. Hi everyone. I'm seeing this disc by Ted Taylor under the name Austin Taylor. Laurie "I don't want to Love you / Lovin' hands" pro- but I can't find any reference to value. It's in excellent shape. Is it worth more than a penny? Thanks- m
  8. A penny doesn't go as far as it used to
  9. Hope the link works- valentines - thanks-m https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/261951633699?
  10. I may not get to it until Sunday- I have a rather nice copy of The valentines ss7-2663 pro - fyi
  11. Moses and Sheila have a horse race with watchers. I added a few reasonable discs starting today/ tonight. Thanks again-m
  12. Got a few up (finally) moses smith, jimmy lipscomb, chuck carbo- thank YOU
  13. Was doing a little digging yesterday- here's a so-so example of what I referenced earlier. There is a "positive" ridge to the one side.
  14. One record back in the fall, I think a really early Motown 45- had the bb hole. But what was interesting was it had been melted. There was a "pushed in" side that the material flowed into the hole. The "pushed outside" side had a collar around the hole of the melt through, which was the displaced vinyl. What was also interesting- it looked as if someone had gently hammered it down as it was still hot wax. Maybe trivial- but if I find it again- I'll try to post up a pic. Ps- "you'll shoot your eye out kid!"
  15. I have a few reasonable ( I think ) priced #s up ending next week. Since I can't remember the link at the moment- please search "elvisluvs" thanks
  16. I think its Brook Benton- just gauging if there's interest if a put up a lot about an 1" high? I didn't really look at condition- iirc they are mostly the black mercury 45s. What kind of shipping cost would cover it? Thanks-m Ps- it might be bobby bare My BBs are rolling around with my marbles
  17. Just a couple that might be of interest starting tonight- the joneses and herman kelly. I'll try to get a few more up today -thanks!
  18. Hey Gogs- that's important stuff (and I didn't know that)- thank you. I stumbled through putting a couple cheapies up today for tomorrow night. As my slower than molasses speed improves- maybe I'll put the somewhat more interesting stuff up for the same weekend. Take care-m
  19. Not finding much on this one- "Austin taylor" on Laurie 3082 pro I don't want to love you / lovin' hands. Can anyone shed a little lovin' on this one? TY ;)
  20. If I can muster a bit of motivation tomorrow- I might try to put up a few. That one box seemed to be an exception so far. Today I went through some more quickly culled stuff- the only decent money disc today was an early carole king disc. But there was about 50 $10 soul discs that looked quite good. So I probably have about 200 discs to put up in the near future (so far). I have 2 more small boxes to look up still. Is there an average of what folks are expecting to pay for a cross atlantic shipping of a 45? Maybe a dumb question- should I end the soul stuff Sunday night Uk time or US ? Any preferred hour? Thanks again to everyone-m
