Went to the Plebs Club in Sunny Halifax yesterday and although the club policy was playing vinyl from 1963 to 1968, this one was played out. I was always under the impression that this was on the Starline compilation L.P. and then was released around 1971ish due the demand? Mentioned this to another punter and he said that there was a single of this and it was played at Samanthas in Sheffield in 1968. Just had a brief look at the UK and US discographies but can't see any mention of it. Can anyone out there enlighted me on this one? Many thanks, In Anticipation, Ian

Well there's always the lottery. Still wading through my Searling tapes and finding tunes I like but don't know the titles/artists but now can use this site to help maybe? Ironic that these shows are from 10 plus years ago but never hear records like this anywhere (well not round here). I'm sure I'll be posting up more so keep a lookout. Been going down to the Wheel of late and it does make a refreshing change from the majority of venues. No handbaggers, baggy trousers, swirly skirts and posers. I don't know if you have been at all? Thanks Pete, So if it's a c/u I wont find it on youtube or in Manships. Took it from a Richard Searling radio show from many years ago. Have a lot of tapes from Searlings shows and there are quiet a few odd ball ones where I don't know the titles or artists so will keep banging them on here to find out maybe.
