"Very few if any since have left an indelible mark on the scene. They have by and large been a continuation of what went before, popular yes/maybe but hardly ground breaking. "
agree karl Wilton and Lifeline were Outstanding at that time as tastes changed/evolved so the scene did too in my experience Expectations from the younger all nighter attendees were for Funkier Gritty Soul in some cases cos they wanted to dance like we did when we had some knees !!! lol
Burnley Rugby Bury 100 club Bolton played sounds that didnt always cost big money on the contrary the cheaper the better, overlooked missed and were new to the dancer /listener broadly speaking it was that element that created the Landmark Moments magical memories packed dance floor

I always liked Bury Town Hall as a nighter you had the best of all worlds there with 3 rooms Guests were excellent Kenwood was down my street ...I had met and spoken with Simon and Len in the previous visits .
Pandemic arrives No events anywhere life has totally changed no work anywhere very painful Simon walks Dog and launches on line events
Event is fantastic Human communication is restored and flourishes to many listeners as it grows . in size .This event becomes the only show in town unrivaled in its pursuit of Rare and diverse Soul Music .Anticipated weekly ive spent 6 hours a week for over a year with you lot and we have all become great friends and shared some very unique moments in life. !
What an honour for me to Request selections from everyone I have got a MP3 of all of them !!!!! alas not the Vinyl it cost time but i had plenty
My partner Lisa who proper hates Northern said " its like a new community that looks after each other" I loved that
I am very lucky to have friends like you guys and i will see you all at Bury very soon
Thank you Simon and Pete you have been brilliant
Warmest Wishes To All (Ill still be in the chat room on Sat )

illegal venues speakeasy feel to things to challenge the authority could emerge like prohibition in the us in the 20 s but we have the covid fker to consider people with people all talking socialising and dancing what sort of world is that all so quickly taken ! Hope all on here are having a great day
