Gladys Knight- How Do You Say Goodbye
Thanks for this John. I can assume that as you say they were cashing in as this is a 1975 release. This is probably also why I can’t find any info about the track

Gladys Knight- How Do You Say Goodbye
I’ve bought this 1975 album for the title track I checked the album out on Discogs & it’s listed as a re-issue. The CD I have it on is a 1961-1965 compilation so was the original release much earlier? Does anyone know anything about the original release, or anything about the track in general for that matter? I’m drawing a blank on it Thanks in advance

The Philly Soul Club
Don't forget folks, that we're back once again on Sunday, 13th October 2024 (second Sunday of the month) 3:00pm - 9:00pm here at The Philly, playing our usual mix of fully across the board Northern Soul, Motown and R&B. This month we have the pleasure to welcome as our our guest DJ Ann "Mrs KGB" H. Many of us will remenber Ann along with her late husband Barry running the massively successful KGB Soul Club for many years until new management took over the venue, bringing an end to the longest running Soul Club in Sheffield, if I'm not mistaken a reign of just over 14 years and in the process raising thousands for charity. With a 100% dance floor driven music policy and an open request format, and of course you're more than welcome to bring your own food to any of our events and we're even talc friendly! Who is the Lead Singer
Perfect 👌 that settles it. So me and the missus are both wrong
-
Who is the Lead Singer
I know, it’s the 1968 bit that’s throwing me, plus I just don’t think it sounds like him. One of the things I read on line was that it was the “Solid Rock“ album version was the last to feature Paul Williams’ voice, but it didn’t mention him as lead singer inferring he was really ill at that point, the more I read, the less I’m sure.

Who is the Lead Singer
Hi All, Can anyone out there please help me find out who is the lead singer on The Temptations “It’s Summer”. I think it’s Paul Williams, my missus thinks it’s Eddie Kendricks with David Ruffin in the middle verse & the stuff I can find on line credits Dennis Edwards & Melvin Franklin. The label doesn’t help, because the Jobette copyright is 1968 & the Motown trademark is 1971. Any help would be much appreciated Cheers
