I know, it’s the 1968 bit that’s throwing me, plus I just don’t think it sounds like him. One of the things I read on line was that it was the “Solid Rock“ album version was the last to feature Paul Williams’ voice, but it didn’t mention him as lead singer inferring he was really ill at that point, the more I read, the less I’m sure.

Hi All, Can anyone out there please help me find out who is the lead singer on The Temptations “It’s Summer”. I think it’s Paul Williams, my missus thinks it’s Eddie Kendricks with David Ruffin in the middle verse & the stuff I can find on line credits Dennis Edwards & Melvin Franklin. The label doesn’t help, because the Jobette copyright is 1968 & the Motown trademark is 1971. Any help would be much appreciated Cheers

At the moment there’s been no response to my request. I’ll give them until Monday & then take it further. I had the option to buy reissues for less money, but I chose this seller because it was more expensive and I therefore assumed it was an original.

Just checked the listing. It says that it was first released in 1979, but doesn’t say that this record was released in 1979 and the seller says he sold it in good faith. It looks like instead of saving myself a tenner I’ve wasted £40. We live & learn🤔

Hi All, Looking for some advice, I have just bought a copy of Tyrone Barkley Man of Value on Midsong International WDJ, I bought it as NM but now it’s arrived it looks a bit too good for a 40 year old record so wondering if there is any way to check if I have an original pressing or a repress? Thanks in advance

Hi All, Please could you check if I have an oddball release or if (heaven forbid) the Discogs information is wrong. According to Discogs the run out is etched 5010-L-5019 on both sides, whereas my copy has 5010-L-5020 as Discogs says is in line with the stock issue. It has ZTSP132458-1A in line with the stock release. Any help would be gratefully received Cheers
