The Juke Joint returns to the Jacaranda Club. The DJs will be playing in the basement as usual and the music will be hooked up to the ground floor. We have our regular resident DJs David Melling and David Callister playing and Phil Laing. We have Richard Free as our very special guest DJ. The Juke Joint happens in an authentic basement bar set in a legendary Liverpool club, The Jacaranda. The Jacaranda opened in 1958 originally as a Jazz club evolving thru the 60s embracing Mersey Beat, Mod, Soul, R'n'B and Jamaican music and culture. The Juke Joint is a free bi-monthly event for those who like to listen and dance to amazing music in a cool and friendly place. Expect to hear gritty R'n'B, 60s Soul, Ska, Rocksteady and cool Mod sounds all on original vinyl. FREE ENTRY! The club is located at 21-23 Slater Street Liverpool L1 4BW and it runs from 3pm-9pm.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!!! The Juke Joint is going ahead Sunday 18th July!! We will be adhering to Covid restrictions and to ensure that people feel safe and comfortable the event will happen in the basement AND the ground floor. The Sunday Joint happens bimonthly in the Jacaranda an original legendary basement club in the heart of Liverpool city centre. Expect to hear gutsy R'n'B, the sweet sounds of Soul, Mod and some tasty Jamaican cuts too. It runs from 15.00-21.00 and it is FREE ENTRY!!!
