The bar is well stocked and always has the cheapest prices helping to lubricate your juices and thirst for more foot tappin hip swingin dance. SATURDAY 4TH OCTOBER 7.30 TILL 11.30PM One the first Saturday of Every Month we hold our monthly Northern Soul Night with guest djs supported by residents Andy Allen and Andre McRobie. We try to cater for all tastes in Northern Soul with a touch of Motown giving an excellent night to suit everyone. Our chosen charity is Ashgate Hospice who give an excellent care for Cancer sufferers and their families.

Phoenix Northern Soul Club (1st Saturday Every Month) Guest Dj is Howard Sorsby a firm favorite with history from Samanthas Sheffield with Andre McRobie and Andy Allen supporting to give an excellent across the board flavours of Northern Soul, Motown with a smuttering of R&B. The club has one of the cheapest bars on the Northern Soul Circuit with a talc friendly dancefloor and free onsite parking and only £3 OTD Just a couple of miles easy access from J29 of the M1 and 2 miles north of Chesterfield.

The Phoenix Northern Soul Club at Arkwright Mini Dayer (Raising Monies for Ashgate Hospice) Re-Arranged we have our Mini-Dayer with 7 confirmed djs from across the country. This venue is one of the very best, great talc friendly dance floor, excellent bar priced as welfare prices should be, Very Cheaply! Just a couple of miles from Junction 29 or 29a of the M1 and 2 miles away from Chesterfield Only £5 entry on this event.

Arkwright Northern Soul and Motown by Phoenix, starting at 7.30 till 11.30 an absolute top night across the board, Northern Soul and Motown Classics with a smidgeon of rare and Underplayed and Modern. Our two guests this month bring the return of two club favorites in Neil Page and after a world tour Andre McRobie bringing to you some of the finest vinyl this side of Derbyshire. Only charging £3 otd but promising an excellent night of top tunes and dance supported by David Shelton and Andy Allen. ARKWRIGHT NORTHERN SOUL CLUB, after a resounding success of April we continue with our top guest Djs, this month we bring in John Callaghan showcasing his excellent love and knowledge of the Northern Soul and Motown scene. The resident djs Andy Allen and Dave Shelton bringing you the absolute best with Classic memories from The Casino, Cleethorpes and of course the Mecca of the North (Derbyshire) yeas you guessed it, Vicar lanes "Jimmies" We look forward to welcoming new and old friends to this excellent club with the best possible bar prices and dance floor that is also talc friendly but Slipperine will get you hung drawn and quartered! A great friendly venue where the only play policy is "Keep em dancing"! Just 3 miles from Jtn 29 M1

The Phoenix Northern Soul Club (4th Friday club) rides again on the 28th March with an iconic guest dj, Craig Patteron(Gas Club) The night is arranged to prompt a busy dance floor with an excellent policy of"Keep em dancin" with djs playing everything from club classics with a smuttering of Motown, R&B with a slither of Cleethorpes, The Torch and Wigan for memory sake. Come along and join us, the venue is of "No Talc" but the floor does not need talc anyway. There is ample free onsite parking and excellent bar prices, see you there.

Arkwright Soul Club, (1st Saturday every month) The Phoenix flies again at this great venue, Andy Allen and Dave Shelton along with Guest Dj Talcman, playing on vinyl only. A great night out at Arkwright Club, great atmosphere with probably the cheapest drinks at any soul night, free parking.

A night organised to bring back memories with friends and family with an excellent Sound and Light Show by Sounds Sensational. The Phoenix Northern Soul Club now in our 6th year, our monthly soul night is held on the 4th Friday of every month with residents Andy Allen, Dave Shelton and Dave Pearce along with an invited guest dj, this months Guest Dj is none other than Sheffiled Samanthas Howard Sorsby who since his return to the decks has quickly become an absolute favorite amongst our regulars offering a great insight into his view on soul music and memories from a bygone era. The venue itself has an excellent polished dance floor and requires no talc in a warm comfortable venue.

Thank you to everyone who supported us at our first event at Arkwright, we now bring our second soul night and will continue to do our monthly nights at this lovely venue. We will be inviting monthly guest djs, this month we have the great "Neil Page" an firm favorite of Phoenix Soul and further more Paul Wright who holds an equally excellent record collection with myself and Dave Shelton in support bringing together an excellent across the board soul night.
