Been sat on this 7" Audiodisc acetate for six years or so, during wihch time I've not been able to place the artist, track or label. Sounds like it could easily fit in with Duke, Peacock or Sure Shot, soundwise...or maybe a tiny indie NYC label?! What a vocal...sounds very accomplised...tremendously Soulful for sure! I try to deal in just near mint condition discs, and fortunately a lot of what I turn up over here is in that condition Every now and then I find a nice disc with a few marks or label wear...rude to leave 'em on the shelves if they still play loud and proud! Maybe be of use to someone? I came across a 7" Pye acetate of the Westminster Strings' version of 'Touch of velvet - sting of brass' today...in Tokyo as you do! The date stamp has it down as October 1968 which is correct...sorry I didn't inspect it closer, but if anyone is interested drop me a PM

It is a bootleg...the paper quality and poor print usually gives it away on sight. Original grey copies (and WDs) are machine stamped. There is no pink label copy to my knowledge.
