Happy Feet

I said I would ask him , if I bumped into him & whilst out walking Vincent our 6 month old Blue Whippet this evening , who got on rather well with Robert , I asked him how it came about that he sang " I've Got A Secret " etc . He told me that Ed Kassner ( of Ed Kassner Music Ltd. ) had sent his team a One- Derful acetate to listen to & record which he did . He honestly didn't know The Sharpees had previously recorded , the group name wasn't on the Acetate , not one of his favourite songs & admitted he struggled with the key , too high for his range .
Just a quick footnote , I did tell Robert why I was asking him , & he gave his blessing for me to update .

I also got mine from Fish pre- ordered , 2nd copy from Juno for a mate & a coloured vinyl copy from Daptone UK for the hell of it , just wish they'd released it with a picture sleeve with some info on it.

Love to hear these type of repairs , whether warps or label abuse , have deliberately bought damaged records over the years , with an idea that maybe a winner & work and restore to at least 75% .
 

I can definitely remember attending, one of the few Alnighters that my brother came with me , all the way from Brighton, when the trains where affordable, I'm sure I sold Adam after twisting his arm to play it ,Gwen McCrea , The Melody Of Life ,Cat 12" from my sales box , fantastic night and great atmosphere.

Just found it on Spotify , not one I regularly use , but glad I did ..
Just hope the last two make it to a 45 release .
