There not even average. . Shame that don't object to the list themselves. Very dishonest generation .

Hi SteveÂ
When you mentioned record shops in Leicester do you remember the one near the polytechnic as it was then , there was a row of shops in a sunken area with an underpass going to Newark Street and it came out also near the start of the underpass. I vaguely remember a newsagents and the record shop but nothing else. Must be 78 79 as I was still at school.Â
I used to go there 1978/9 also black books had a vinyl section . City centre Leicester. Think it burnt down . Ally mayer had a stall in the indoor mrk . I imagine there where more but that over 55 years ago .Not that many left alive from the Midlands. I went to the lorcarno too . Every time from 79 -81 then the electric theatre took over .I have al the names of djs wrote down when they played ..Â

An enforced departure can change your whole perspective on things. Been to three local nights, a one off, a new venue and an all-nighter so far. First three just didn't grab me, I just didn't feel it, the one off was OK as was the new venue, the all-nighter was great but I don't think I'll be bothering too much for a while. Got used to staying in and having a drink instead.

Oh dear quite enjoyed your reviews of clubs &djs attitudes creeping in who flogging bootlegs . I think you should get back out with sketch book out .đ
