  1. Listening to Soul music wasn’t enough. Neither was dancing to it or digging records. The Honey Drops came out of an obsession, a will, and to a degree, a need. From Manchester, inspired by scenes like Northern Soul, Mod Jazz, Pop Corn and Deep Soul. Writing and playing songs we’d love to hear in the darkest of dancefloors, the place to soak up new and obscure tracks from days-gone-by without losing the perspective of time. To sweat and move, to let go and groove. Right here, right now. They’ve got the Soul. They’ve got the Rhythm. And they’ve got the Blues. On October 11th, and for the first time ever, The Honey Drops will bring their sound and their songs to the South for a night of Soul & Rhythm & Blues at Highcliffe Social Club. Darren Filler will be the guest DJ for the night, filling the place with soul gems before and after the live show. Get your tickets here!
  2. Get ready for an unforgettable night of funk, soul, and retro sounds! Soul Sessions Brum is back, bringing you an epic line-up at one of Birmingham’s favourite venues. ✨ The Honey Drops - @honey_drops_uk If you’re into rhythm & blues and soul, these guys are about to become your new obsession. With their blend of classic dancefloor grooves and modern edge, The Honey Drops bring the soul, rhythm, and blues to life in the most electrifying way. After successful shows in the North West and Spain, they’re bringing their iconic sound to Birmingham – so make sure to wear your best dancing shoes! ✨ Hunzz - @hunzzmusic A fresh, unique five-piece band from North Wales, Hunzz mixes Funk, Jazz, and Pop like no one else! With funky guitar riffs, smooth basslines, sweet melodies, and dynamic vocals, their sound is as distinctive as it gets. These seasoned musicians (who’ve played alongside The Magic Numbers and Nile Rodgers & Chic) are set to make waves at The Night Owl! ✨ Collective Sleep - @collectivesleep Prepare for a fusion of Alternative Soul, Jazz, and Ambient Grooves. Known for their incredible live shows and immersive sound, Collective Sleep channels the energy of legends like Stevie Wonder, Prince, and Herbie Hancock. Birmingham’s own forward-thinking soul collective is here to blow you away with soulful vocals and lush harmonies. 🎶 Expect an epic night of live music, good vibes, and Digbeth energy! 🎶
  3. That’s right! The Honey Drops are back at Big Hands on the 11th of June for another set of Soul & Rhythm & Blues tunes. We hope the weather will be better than last time, but this is Manchester, so you never know. It’ll surely be cozy inside, with a dancefloor that includes sofas and tables for you to groove on top of them. On the decks, before and after the show, we’ll have Living Room Dance Club playing some gorgeous tunes. You probably know her already. You’re in luck if you don’t, since now you’ll have the chance to discover her shows on Reform Radio. It’ll be a fiver on the door, no advance tickets, so make sure you’re there nice and early.
  4. They've got the Soul, the Rhythm and they also have the Blues. The Honey Drops will bring their sweet sound to Head!

And, of course, bags of Blues too. And not just from us. For this occasion, we’re bringing Steve Cato along. From Soul Or Nothing to Different Strokes, he was also part of the gang responsible for the brilliant Manchester Soul Weekender. Sore legs the day after are guaranteed, folks, so go grab yer ticket here! £5adv / £8otd
  6. Get ready for a sweet and sweaty night in a dark room filled with music. And furniture. It’s part of the dancefloor, so don’t be shy and get on up. We’re playing at Big Hands on Wednesday 18th of December. Dropping Soul and drooling in Rhythm & Blues on a school night, folks. We’ll have Oliver Lambert, who’s probably made you dance in other rooms like Room At The Top and is one of the faces behind The 60s House Party Manchester. He’s got bags of stompers and finger-snapping records to play before and after the show with us, and for you. £5 tax on the door. No advance tickets this time around. Bring cash, or card or any other form of legal tender of your choice. And come early, just in case. The needle drops at 8pm and will only stop for the live music, obvs, and once the hour hand on the clock points to 3.
