I've also prepared another quiz which was supposed to be for next week, I'll put that up also, a trifle more difficult (Ithink). But knowing you lot it will be about 10 mins before the correct answers go up. Next Friday I'll have to go for real obscurities !!!!!

Thought I'd put something together to annoy you all over the weekend Some are easy Some are not so easy enjoy leave it a while before anybody posts answers up - maximum annoyance quiz2.mp3- Quiz
I told you it was easy Uptight Everything Is Alright Stevie Wonder Tears of a Clown Smoky Robinson and the Miracles 1, 2, 3 Len Barry A Quitter Never Wins Larry Williams and Johnny "Guitar" Watson. Seven Days is Too Long Chuck Wood Girls Are Out To Get You The Fascinations There Was A Time Gene Chandler What Becomes of the Broken Hearted Jimmy Ruffin He Was Really Sayin' Something The Velvellettes Nowhere to Run Martha Reeves and the Vandellas 100+ views Might do another of these with some Station Road classics- Quiz
Don't know if this is in the right section but....... Thought you might like to have a go at this easy peasy quiz I placed it on the www.paynesreunion.co.uk web site a couple of years ago as a competition to win an Edwin Starr CD You don't have to put the answers up, it's just there to tease but if you're really stuck............. quiz1.mp3- Breaks
If I'm thinking along the same lines as the original poster to me the break is the bit in the middle of a vocal record (not instrumental where there is a "musical interlude" with no vocals. Usually between the 2nd / 3rd verse and the final verse of a tune. My favourite, which I think is absolutely stunning, is when the strings come in in the middle of Juanitta Williams - Baby Boy. Have a listen Juanita_Williams_____Baby_Boy.mp3- Northern Motown
Stevie Wonder - Love A Go-Go Marvin Gaye - So Long Martha Reeves & Vandellas - Save Some Room In Your Heart For Me- Best Song Of The Day
star treks - gonna need magic can't get it out of my head sounds like Dusty- Sonny Stit
I think it's brilliant. Never thought anything of it, played at home on the hi-fi, it was ok but nothing special. GAVE it to a friend who ran a local night, he played it out & LOUD Thought it wAS EXCELLENT Still after a decent mp3 if anybody can help I also really like The Double O Soul of ........ - Weekend Quiz
