    Hi, fast approaching 70 years, living in Southampton, Electrician by trade. I grew to like soul when as a 13 yr old I started attending my local Youth Centre. The slightly older lads always looked cool, well dressed and moving well to the sounds being played. I was really sucked in when I became a roadie for a local DJ who was well into soul, putting on nights in Portsmouth for the Navy guys. He had a great collection which I quickly learned about by listening. I have never strayed since about 1972 although I do listen to other genres. I'm hoping to partake, contribute and learn.
