    HI all, seems such a long time ago, but I used to go to clubs in South Manchester and in Town (we called Manchester) as well as Cheshire. First club was The Sale Locarno 1968, also The Twisted Wheel, Sloopy's in Town. Sands in Stretford, Cheshire Cat in Nantwich and Alveston Hall near Crewe. Interest was regenerated in the music (which one never ever forgets) when I head Richard Searlings show's on Jazz FM then Smooth Radio Manchester as well as BBC Radio Manchester & Stoke. Listen to Richard every Sunday on Solar radio. Late 90's went to Beatin Rythmn in Tib Street Manchester and bought over 200 CD's over a few months with all the music I could remember from the day. I still have some of my original vinyl 45's and 12" LP's. Paul
