thanks tabs and pete,so if no funds in pp it will take off card ? and theres an option on pp to choose which currency i pay by ? just to clarify like !,thanks
jason
You send the payment in a specific currency, you choose the currency at the time you send the payment. If buying from ebay you use ebay checkout and it's automatically in the currency of the ebay item. Paypal does a currency conversion for you at not-so-favorable rates.

Other examples of 50's era original 'old' groups or veteran early 60's artists coming up with killer Northern anthems at the end of their careers were records like the Modern Redcaps' "Never Too Young (To Fall In Love)", the Coasters' "Crazy Baby" and, the best of the lot, the Silhouettes "Not Me Baby" - a free 7" record given away with an album of their 50's hits.

Ebay won ' t be bothered - over past 12 months have reported fake Motown demo 45 s , counterfeit Top Of The World Stafford cdrs and numerous others - all these still on Ebay from same sellers ... complete waste of energy I don ' t bother now....
It's pretty hard to prove that they are bootlegs to ebay though. Most bootlegs that do get taken down are reported by the actual copyright holders via ebay's vero program.

that "billy gui" 45 is billy guy by the way. The record also got released with the correct spelling as well as the most common version as by the "new way" on guyjim. I've never seen the version with the 'GUI' spelling that you have.

There's a hole in my record collection called "Happy Go Lucky Me." The original, not the later version, please. Stock or promo, clean copy. Cash awaits. Anyone? (I have the worst luck on here with wants....99 percent of them go unresponded to....Will this be an exception?)
I never have any luck here asking for obscure wants but I imagine someone would come through on this one

I think it's unlikely that these are soul 45s but I don't know them so can't tell you for sure

I have a Mint- copy that i'm trying to move and can only find a couple of prices online but are from a year or more ago.
Record is out of the Bay Area and is on Soul Sauce records "Nag on Me / All By Myself"
Just wondering if the values online $1300 for VG from a year ago and $1000 for a comparable one to mine from 2007.
Thanks for any help you can give.
not that it helps much but I sold a M- copy on here in like 2007 and asked $800 (was just selling it to buy another $800 record) and it went very quickly. I haven't seen it for sale anywhere since and people have asked me about it since. Some people even assumed I had stock of it since I was selling it so "cheap".

Hi. Someone I know is asking about the artist behind this record:
Coronado 112 - Eddie Williams - I just can't help myself / You left your happiness
a group called the Sheiks are credited as backing on the "I just can't help myself" side. I think the record is from El paso, TX. I know there's probably more than one artist with this name that recorded. Does anyone have any info on this Eddie Williams or on other records that are probably the same Eddie? Thanks in advance.

I was referring mainly to the great but common records that are easily available.
they get ignored. May be that everybody has them ? or not enough new collectors to buy up the stock still available. Its a whole mix of reasons.
and also its a generalisation probably not true in every case just most.
also for some reason new collectors are only into $$$ vinyl. I didn't pay $10 for a record before I found all the ones I could for $5.

I take what Bob's saying about the longer version with the spoken passage giving the record an added dimension of collectability but that popsike result is still an anomaly to me. Over five hundred dollars is way over the top.
I agree, I think some long time collectors will pay for the number and not the quality though.
I recently got a copy of the rarer regal dewy 45, stock with the flip. I was super psyched because I got it cheap and it always went for a lot on ebay, like $200 or something like that. It was terrible.
