  1. So I’m more confused than before this thread started, I now understand the pink issue was pressed on or around 1967 in Detroit. But was it before, or after the yellow copies? Do Pameline demo’s, or Palmer issues exist? I’ve never seen either, (unless someone can provide a scan please) Why didn’t Popcorn sue Vault records for the unlicensed releases (on Vault & Vocalion) Here’s another possible timeline suggestion, (please don’t shoot me down for trying): 1967. Palmer Demo was the 1st, for the promotion of it and sent out to Radio Stations etc. ( I don’t know if any Pal
  2. Has anyone found out yet? It’s been a while and thought I’d revisit this page. Also, is there any scans of the black issue, or were there only demo’s made?
  3. Top venue with Top DJ’s, Phil Ankers, Geoff Mac and Colin Jona Jones. This Month our very good friend Mr Gaz Shooter will be joining us, for a Northern fest of Quality tunage and good time to be had by all. Doors open at 14.45, cheap bar prices and good ale too. Remember how good the Twisted Wheel Sunday Sessions and the Notts Palais All Dayers’ were, then join us for a nostalgic afternoon.
  4. WOW!!!! Probably the best nights entertainment for a lot of years and all the required boxes were ticked with the music going on til way after One O’ Clock (phew). All the DJ’s brought their “A-Game” to the decks, Rob Smith played the best set I’ve heard from him, some of the records he must have been saving for a rainy day (and of course it did earlier on Friday lolz). Phil must have put his best ever set together, because even with the air con on full, we were all drenched in exuberance and fulfilment. Just let me say, if you went, you definately got your money’s worth an

I was humbled by such an appreciative crowd, the best dancefloor in the area was rammed all night. All the feedback was genuinely positive and the attendance is getting stronger, with regulars and new faces wanting more at the end. I for one can’t wait for the next one.
