Nev, cheers for posting that....It appears that Ralf is a very very old friend of Marc's who is 'always very fussy about condition' but obvioulsy not fussy about selling a repro as an original and then not fussy about me returning it to him for a refund (and that's me giving him and Marc the benefit of the doubt and assuming Ralf genuinely believes that it was the original)....This could have been resolved so easily but alas it has come to naming and shaming....

Eddie Parker - Love You Baby ASFORD 1A £15 This is the 'repro' with the 'small staggered type set ARCHER stamped matrix in the deadwax'... Now....The story is I was sold this as an 'original' by MARC FORREST on behalf of his 'friend' RALF FEIGE on Soul Source....I specifically asked if it had the 'large raised ARCHER in the deadwax' and I was told it had so I went ahead with the purchase.....Well, somewhere between Germany and here it miraculously changed to the repro....I have tried countless times to contact RALF FEIGE to return it for a refund to no avail....Make your own conclusions please genuine Northern Soul people out there.... Yes fully agree....PLEASE, if you are selling records as 'originals' please make sure they are 'original' and not second issues....You know who you are....

well marc if you want to discuss here....tell 'your friend' to reply to my emails then with an address to send it back to for a full refund and also tell german postmen not to be so thorough and deliver records so soon....i have done nothing wrong here.....i order a record which you tell me is an original, when i clearly ask if this is the large ARCHER when it has not and i send money promptly and i get the record delivered quickly (my mistake too obviously) and get a repro.....i must be in the wrong here then!!?? ahhhhh NO!

it seems strange that between germany and the uk the ARCHER has become staggered just like in the previous scans.....

thanks for the defining answer richard......the guy who sold it to me please take heed......no hard feelings, i just want to return it to you and get a refund....plain and simple....

Hi there, to clarify a dispute regarding a purchase of this I made, can anyone please confirm that the vinyl 'repro' has the ARCHER slightly staggered in the run out and is smaller than on the original ARCHER ?? I bought one that was advertised as the original and this is what I was sent and the seller won't have it that this is the 'repro'... Thanks for your time soulies....
