Just spent 10 mins typing my reply .....hasnt appeared grrrrrrrrrrrrr Anyway I wear ladies Doc Martens they're great for dancing when they been worn smooth! When I've danced the first dance if I think Im gonna need it I put it under the table to dab my shoes in or on the edge of the dancefloor if the table area is carpeted hell I even dance on the carpet if the dancefloor is packed!!! I do try not to use it but I dont mind folks using it ..IF theyre gonna be on the floor ALL night! Ahhhhhhhhh Palais days That floor was to die for it was HUGE and used to bounce when everyone stomped on it!!!!!! I dont remember huge plumes of talc being used tho ...it was brogue shoes with leather soles and polyveldts And the dancers were Awesome some of the spins went on forever!!! I always stayed on the left where the decks were 3/4 the way up the floor the front was always reserved for the best dancers I do remember the great smell of Brut talc tho Mand

  25. As you probably know I come from what in the trade is called footsyland (east midlands) We constantly get slagged off for loving our oldies and being stuck in the past Yet this is gettin plays all over the local clubs and fills the floor I have it on good old vinyl ( original copy of course ) I happen to love it and of course the guys who did a sterling job in the video representing the face of todays northern soul scene I wouldnt deem it "pop drivel" I would class it as a new oldie Mand Paul sorry I couldn't edit your post off this one pc being gay!!! Btw I think its terrible you didnt get any credit for the supply of one of the female dancers from your play
