Forest Town Dance comp winners Tracy Holroyd and Johnny along with Karl and another F/Town regular

Last weeks winner at kingsway hall was a young lad in his 20s .(his parents are soulies) but his moves are all his own! Ive admired his dancing since he started being a regular at the venue HOORAY!!!! Apparently they couldnt get many ladies to enter tho ...Tracy holroyd won it (ladies trophy) I wouldnt stay off the floor if there was a comp going on but I wouldnt be that bothered about being a competitor I just love to dance As do many many others! too old for trophies now ...wish I had entered when I was younger tho might gained an odd momento from palais days Did the gymanstics and the whole shbang !!!

He does capoeira too (acrobatic type of matial art) the stuff on BBC2s ads Hasnt anyone got footage we can look at? I love to look at skilled dancers ..they make everything look easy!

I s'pose you're right about the dancers in one room! As for trampolining We're always safe Spot we're trained by BAGA (Britich amateur gymnastics assoc) All safety procedures followed Its a great way to keep fit! and fun thats why I like to keep having a go ! we're now thinking of running an adult class too Mand

Mikey I didnt think we were talking about past dancers I was trying to keep it on topic ! I have no objections if anyone wants to add dancers from other eras who have dropped of the face of the planet! Seems such a waste of talent ..

Litlle stevie a fanatabulous dancer !!! Of course you and I saw Sam E and your Trev win the comp at skeg that year Still have the photos of them with their trophies! Is Andy the guy that does the DVDs ?? Hiya Sista welcome to the thread If you look further up I posted a nice little clip of Mr Quinn doing his stuff !! Hes a myspace friend of mine and i emailed him to tell him he was being bigged up by his club goers and friends ...he was very flattered! I cant blame them he is very good Ive seen quite a few good new faces and they dont seen daunted by the older dancers I think its one of those things where you hear that sound and your interpretation is different to the next persons ..but so what we all love the music! Mand

Wouldnt it be good to get all the top dancers in a room together for a dance comp to see who really does come out top dog all those egos in one room !!! Now that would be worth watching! Spot I do understand where the ego thing comes from tho ....blokes tend to have a more competitive streak whe it comes to anything!!! I admire Sam Evans footwork very much ..but I could teach her a thing or two about gymastics those bendy legs on her cart wheels look very messy and her round offs are also untidy But then i gave up the gym routines a long time ago I think i would look very undignified throwing myself about (even tho I still can ) after all Im a laydee and I do laydee things !! PMSL!!! PS I teach gymnastics and trampolining to kids which I love!!!
