Double O Soul

The is our second event at the Starbeck Working Man's Club. Four hours of floor-filling Soul, Northern and Motown. All played from vintage vinyl by resident DJs Colin Beveridge and Stephen Crawshaw. All welcome. No membership required. Free admission. Great clubroom, very close to rail station and bus. We have established a lovely little soul club with some fantastic supporters. The music is rich and varied, entertaining dancers and foot tappers alike. Expect surprise tunes mixed in with the classics all afternoon. Starting at 2pm till 8pm there is a £2 door charge with all money going to a York Hospice, St Leonard's, hope to see a loads of you soulies, talcum powder welcome to help you dance the afternoon away.
