I have all it on all three labels and I also think cos they are Canadian the Wam release is the first issue. Wam label looks better than Polydor but I couldn't decide which to keep so kept em all. Makin of love also on Wam choon- Inez And Charlie Foxx
Just bought one for less than a tenner and yes John the B side is outstanding and should be played out. I certainly will be- Beat Ballads
How about Arthur Alexander I Need You Baby for me one of the best ballads ever- Betty Wright - Open The Door To Your Heart - Rca
Thought it was Italian only on RCA, but I maybe wrong- Betty Wright - Open The Door To Your Heart - Rca
Hard to find. Paid £75 for my copy complete with picture sleeve. Not as good as D Banks IMHO but not a bad version. Have played it out a couple of times- Recent Manship Auctions - Ending Prices?
JM got £358 for my copy of the test press complete with the release sheet- Could This Work
Was at Friendship the other week and in over 6hrs only one record was played twice and that was in the first and last spots. But the DJ's were in the venue all night listening to each other. So the answer would seem to be as Steve say's " get in early and listen to what's been played". ie COMMON SENSE - Archie Bell And The Drells - A Thousand Times
