  4. So if a buyer pisses you about and you potentially lose a sale or sales because of them , there's buggar all you can do ? Definitely a buyers world then eh. Swifty
  5. No worries Jed , shit happens , glad you got yours though , trouble was I left it too long to give him chance to pay and when I decided to give him negative feedback for non payment it was too late , Doh! Cheers Swifty
  6. I agree Pete , thought the valuation was way too cheap , have bought a copy now at what I thought is a fair price . Also usually the ones I think are valued very cheap are never in stock ? Swifty
  7. Yes mate , am now sorted but thanks anyway Cheers Swifty
  8. Know what you mean Jim , I think I was on £12 a week then also , so they cost me a weeks wages , it's all relevant I suppose. Swifty
  9. Nice prices there Jim , got a Harold Melvin myself recently £40 off SS , thought I did well but yours is a great price. Mind you the first copy I bought on a visit to Soul Bowl late 70's I think cost me £4 !!!!! for a minter lol. Cheers Swifty p.s. that same day I bought Edward Hamilton - Baby don't you weep for £8 Happy days eh?
  10. Sorry , what I meant by 'Proper Price' was that it seems to be all over the place price wise. Anglo rate the issue at £20 and demo at £40 but on popsike they range from £40 to $150 but to honest I was looking at paying up to £60 Cheers Swifty
  11. NOW SORTED , THANKS Has anyone got a copy of EDDIE HOLMAN - I SURRENDER - ABC W/D vg+/Ex at a proper price please ? Please PM me , will reply to all pm's Cheers Swifty
  12. I always make sure I've got funds and pay straight away , hey and I've got limited funds (the Mrs. makes sure of that ) Basically my paypal account is my wallet , i.e. if I sell a few then I've got funds to buy a few, that's how it works for me anyway. The thing is with costs , postage , time and packaging it sometimes makes me think is it fooking worth it? Had me Dinner now and a couple of vinos , so chilling a bit! Still want to tw@t 'em though and maybe matey boys record never got there and I'm being unfair? Swifty
  13. Kev , I'll send fooking 'Tin Tin' round !!! Swifty
  14. Dave , the Spanish guy that didn't pay me , I thought I had loads of time , so like a daft Tw*t I kept thinking he would pay and in the end, when I was going to give him negative feedback , I couldn't because it's now 30 days and I thought it was 60 DOH!!! Hope you sort yours mate or we can all hire a minibus and go visiting ! and have a few beers , eh? Swifty
  15. Phew ! I don't usually comment on threads of 45's over £14.99 Marc !!! Swifty
  16. Still pissed off though !
  17. Chalky , must admit that when I saw he was from Belgium I was a bit nervous, I'm sorry to those totally honest people from Belgium I'm not tarring everybody with the same brush . Cheers Swifty
  18. Daft thing is Mark , I thought Royal Mail Airmail was traceable ? Next time eh? Cheers Swifty
  19. I'm a bit out of my depth here but just because some of the WD's were off centre surely doesn't mean that they all were even on the same run? Swifty
  20. Cheers Mark , I thought it strange that he was making an issue of delivery even before it was due for delivery and thought the same . Cheers Swifty
  21. About a month ago I sold a record on ebay to a bloke in Belgium , and after a week he was chasing delivery , which is fair enough but it did state that Royal Mail Air mail should arrive within 10-12 days , so there was still plenty of time for it to arrive . I posted it the same day he paid for it ,so I emailed him to say it was still within the delivery guidelines and should be with him within a few days. The estimated delivery date was 22nd Feb , of which I informed him, He then put a none delivery claim against me on the 22nd FFS! I emailed him back and said something along the lines of , 'Hey up mate give it a day or two , I can't control the delivery system. well just had an email saying they (Paypal/Ebay) have found in the favour of the buyer and have given him the £24.50 back. Now I presumed wrongly , that Royal Mail Airmail was trackable so did'nt send recorded , so with the £15 it cost me to buy I'm £40 out of fookin pocket. I've been ebaying bits for the last 2-3 years and never had a problem until this year when I've had 2. The other was a bloke in Spain won 5 records off me and never paid for them , even after numerous emails , so pressumably I've been charged for selling them even though I didn't. plus a fellow member on here pm'd me about the same buyer who he'd had problems with paying but eventually did, but not me ! Bastards !!! Sorry about the rant but as you may of guessed it's pissed me of , it's hard enough making a couple of quid nowadays , let alone being stitched up by people. Trouble is everything seems stacked against the seller ! (I'm also a buyer) Thanks for listening , it was easier doing this than talking to the wife about it , if you know what I mean Pissed off from Louth Swifty
  22. Will do matey , glad your happy with it mate , great record imho , had another demo last year but it was the normal Black label with Promo info printed in silver I think , anyway mate thanks for bidding and will let you know when I have some more on , next week probably as the Mrs. has had me helping do the Bathroom today , she does all the sawing and things and I just hold things 'cause I ain't got a clue about DIY Cheers mate Swifty
