As many of us are probably of an age where our best years are behind us. Then looking at the hike in the price of rare 45's that maybe generated by long term collectors dipping into their pension pots to buy rarities at auction.

I got to thinking about bucket lists. It's not just about what you want, but why you want it, the stories behind the chase, and the joy of finally holding it in your hands.

From the grand and super rare to the deeply personal and sentimental, every "thing" has its place here. What's on your ultimate ownership bucket list, and what does it mean to you?

  2. Chris contributed so much over the years, YMCA record fairs, magazines, the Bear cellar soul and 60's nights. I remember buying some really good records off him over the years. Mushroom promotions was a new one to me, some big names on the flyer. Thank you for sharing.

Instrumentals were a massive part of the scene back then, dont know why they fell out of flavour, here,s another one that got hammered back at the Casino circa 79/80 on the nice Omack label.

I could be wrong but I seem to remember Soul Sam playing this one

  4. So sad to read the news about the passing of Ted.  It was always a pleasure to be in his company.  He was a great DJ, collector and fellow soulie. You could always count on his support and he never let us down when he DJ'd regularly at Bidds all nighters and Stafford soul nights. A true gentleman.  May you rest in peace 🙏
