  1. If I can, I would like to say that Brian's work is outstanding. I have had first hand experience of his work and was immensely impressed. Brian very kindly came to the last 'Leeds Central' alldayer, and snapped some amazing photographs of the event. Brian comes highly recommended and his project looks like it's going to be a sure fire winner.
  2. Love this, but prefer 'If you ever get your hands on love', even more rare I would think?
  3. Just got a Demo for £35. Thank you all for the help!
  4. Great mem's of the 'Cats' here! Thanks. A what a surprise to see a badge and a flyer LOL! Never seen one of the badges, didn't even know they did one tbh. Seen a flyer before but not that one. Here's a scan of the one I have seen.
  5. And if this doesn't cheer you up, Rest In Peace
  6. And this of course! Mentioned above, the ultimate 'Feelgood' tune. Not too shabby for someone who's catalogue includes Hava Nagela and My yidisha Mamma :-)
  7. Also 'Prince Phillip Mitchell' with the same title.
  8. Yes I must agree with your choice, great dancer and very uplifting. One of my faves too.
  9. No Jimmy, I meant the tune that I selected was a little cheesy, but only on a dairylea level :-)
  10. Excellent track, forgot about this one! One on the bay too for $362.27
  11. OK, I know most Northern Soul tracks have the feelgood factor and can turn your glum mood into a happy one in an instant. But for everyone there is 'that' tune that works better then most. This is one of mine, OK. before you say it it is a bit cheesy, but does that matter as long as it makes you feel good?? I love it anyway and it certainly 'Cheers me up' :-) What's yours? The Globetrotters - Cheer me up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOwKLnqN93c
  12. The Bobby Patterson has arrived and is the muddy brown coloured vinyl. Condition not too hot but plays through, and for £6 and on a demo?
  13. Don't stop the record half way through, if it is the first time they have heard a record, then it's an education for them, and the next time they hear it maybe elsewhere, they will remember it and maybe dance then. Also the younger ones may not have heard some of the older tunes that we all take for granted, so same applies to them. Even the biggest tunes that we all know had to be played a first time and I bet not everyone danced to most of them on first hearing.
  14. Best starting at the lowest you're willing to sell for, and I know it sounds risky, but items starting at 99p invariably sell for more than items with a high start price. As they say in the auction business it's a 'come and get me'
  15. For too long it has been the case on ebay, that buyers can give bad sellers negative feedback, but sellers can't give bad buyers the same, leaving the rip off merchants who send back different items or say that they haven't recieved an item at all, free to do it again to other unsuspecting sellers. Is this about to change? I have just left feedback for a buyer on ebay and noticed a new feature in the feedback area. There is now a new button saying 'Report this buyer' When you click on it it gives you 4 options, i.e 'The buyer was unreasonable, The buyer tried to breach ebay rules, The buyer made unreasonable requests', and one other that I can't remember. I don't know what will happen if you do report a buyer using this method, but at least it gives sellers a chance to let ebay at least know that there are some unreasonable buyers using ebay. Still not as effective as being able to leave neg feedback for a buyer, but a little closer. Are ebay taking note??
  16. I'm REALLY surprised that no has asked for some of the prices on the 'Rich Searlings' list yet. It makes great reading :-)
  17. Looking forward to seeing you Scottie, a great day ahead as usual I suspect!
  18. Thank you, have done, awaiting reply.

  22. I have actually in the past, put records I have bought in the locked boot of my car til' such a time that I can sneak them in without her seeing :-) Things we do eh?? :-)
