Friday 14th March ITV1 11.30pm SOUL (Sounds of Underground London)

This week its Northern Soul time Mark Lamarr traces the development of the Northern Soul scene, which flourished in the unlikely surroundings of Wigan and was the best kept secret of the 1970s. Dave Godin recalls introducing his school friend Mick Jagger to black music and his own role in founding the eclectic Soul City, Tamla-Motown and Deep Soul labels.
