First, he led Wesley Bright & the Hi-Lites to prominence with his dance-filled, energetic concerts that first kicked off in 2012. Now, he fronts Wesley Bright & the Honeytones, focused on creating looser-sounding music.

Thanks Mike for posting this.  I enjoyed reading it.

As you probably know, I’m a big fan of Mr Bright.

His vocals are so “organic”, it’s so funny that his singing career is second to his beekeeping!

Every so often you get someone like Sharon Jones or Wesley Bright come along.  Pure class.

I managed to bag two copies of the honey coloured 45, and so I’m very happy to have bought into this slice of soul history.

What a talent!
