1970s North East Cognito Club Video Feature

The North East Teessidelive website has a feature and video on the 1970s Cognito nightclub in Middlesbrough

Filmed by Tyne Tees Television's Northern Life programme, the report is all about a disco dance marathon at the club on Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough in the 1970s

Archive film recalls memories of the nightclub and a disco dancing competition that aimed to set a world record

 

The Incognito also had northern nights with Jack Wardle deejaying.
