After the resounding success of the previous "Soul on The Reef" events we return for our fourth event in November 2023
Soul on The Reef are pleased to confirm their partnership with The Taylor Group, owners of The Irish Oak, McGregor's Bar and The Garrison
Music will be played in both The Irish Oak and McGregor's Bar
DJ's from across the UK, providing all lovers of Soul with the music they want to hear
Lunchtime Chill Out sessions from 2:00pm till 6:00pm will be Monday through to Thursday
Monday 6th November will be dedicated to the sounds from Wigan Casino, you are encouraged to dress in the clothes of the era, baggy trousers for the guys, swirly skirts and ankle socks for the girls, an actual Wigan Casino set being recreated in full by one of the DJ's, copied from original tapes of the last night.
Our traditional "Ladies Day" will be Tuesday 7th November, the music chosen and played by our lady DJ's

No wristband required, no politics, just great music with like minded people

WILL NICOL - from the Northern Soul Rave Patrol shows on Totally Wired Radio and regular at The Gowlett (Soulshaker!), and the Modcast

SOUL AT THE RITZY is a regular, sociable fun loving across-the-board soul night held in a brilliant venue – the club room at the top of the iconic Ritzy cinema in Brixton, London, just minutes from the tube station.
Music policy is 60s/70s soul, OVO of course.
Your hosts JAKE LINGWOOD, DONNA DRISCOLL, LISA HURLEY and DOUGIE LING make sure each night packs a punch – and we bring you 3 brilliant guests each month, as well as playing ourselves.
The sound system is top notch, and the venue has another ace up its sleeve – a large balcony overlooking Brixton’s Windrush Square.  It’s a brilliant venue and we’re thrilled/very lucky to have it.
Throughout 2022 the night got bigger and bigger – and we’re really excited to have booked up a whole calendar of events for 2023.
Regular Thursday nights run from 7pm until midnight and are FREE.  And this year we're really excited to have four Saturday night specials which will run 8pm-2am and will be ticketed.
