Hi all, I was "on the scene", in Newark (as a young 'un at the Bowling Green and The Dice House), Nottingham and other places too many to mention, from around 1975 until about '81 (When the Mecca went disco and the Casino went Joe 90, and it all got a bit silly)

I didn't even know that a soul scene still existed until 2 weeks ago and now I just can't get enough, feels like I'm 17 again (I wish)

I just want to say a big thank you to Paul D, Nicola L, Rob and Donna for reintroducing me to this brilliant scene that we have in Notts, and all the people I have met whose names I don't know yet, but have made me feel so welcome and comfortable, it's like "coming home"
