Good morning Mark - only just spotted your belated request....................but glad you have aquired a Lee Alfred. A record that is well known ???? Disapproved by most and discarded by the masses. Not may I add everybodies taste - but still today sounds so refreshing. It's always drawn me in, a sound that has floated around with various tags of Modern, boogie or just funk. One that slipped out of Pat Bradys home many moon's ago and still hits the £10.00 or under scale. Love or hate this type of sound, but played along side Jimmy Mayes and The Mayes Street Depot - Social Security on Gerim 101 (45rpm) and Misty Graham - Soul Energy on CRS102 and the result will be a decline in your DJ bookings diary .
