Hi I want to go dancing up here in Liverpool. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a soul music desert. Gotta be said, Mr Jones is a vastly underrated DJ, and a top bloke too!!

White bull is a great event, as is Wakefield City Soul Club @ Red Bar (Yorkshire).

I know neither of these are over your way but some times it pays to travel and you wont be dissappointed!

As been mentioned, the EMS forum is best place to suss out soul on the modern side.

Dont ignore events talk on here either though.
