Frank Eddie -Forever - Insync Is It False/offkey?! At 45 Rpm

Hello,

I have a copy of Frank Eddie - Forever on the INSYNC label. The track Forever sounds rather off-key/false to me in the backing vocals. Is this normal for this 45? The refosoul clip seems to have the same problem i think (a bit less i think). When you play it a bit faster than 45 rpm (pitch) the problem is less. Strange for a label that's called INSYNC!? Do all copies have this problem?
