The words Northern Soul for years has just conjured up to the majority Peter Kay and his 'bit o Motown for the dads' no doubt who went to WIGAN once!(even an auntie turned up on the bus once with her boyfriend from Brighouse, she was wearing high heals and fur coat ffs) But for years I have had the pleasure of being in the company of people who listen to, dance to and enjoy some outstanding soul music both in Europe and here in the UK. So without a beer towel, pair of spencers, or badge in site, I reclaim my my right to describe my lifestyle as a truly 21st century NORTHERN Soul one, at any venue, in any of the rooms.! Karenxxx
