This is a Chicago / St. Louis record. Pretty hard to find but I've never seen it sell for much more than $50.

Hi,Keith,I've had this for about 25 yrs, played it locally during this time.If i remember its a James Mack production.Always thought it would be picked up on one day, yours is the only other copy i've known about,I've looked for more copies but none have turned up.It must be pretty scarce.

I've seen it on ebay at least 4 times. It almost always sold for under $30 hence no popsike. It's still pretty rare and $5000 records have sold for under $30 until they were "known". I personally don't think the record is that great though, can't imagine it becoming a monster.

Seem to remember there being a female artist named Brandy who at a young age cut a duet album with Edwin Starr, not the same lady by any chance?

I think you're thinking of Blinky.

Anyways, there were a bunch of groups or artists named brandy. I even know of another Brandy group from Chicago around the same time (who never recorded) that is not this group.
