ANN PERRY – THAT’S THE WAY HE IS / INST – THEODA VG 180 SOLD
I rate this as one of the rarest 45’s I’ve had in years. This isn’t the version with the rosette on the label, it’s the original vinyl Detroit press. Don’t get this confused with the light blue label vinyl press, that turned up in the late 80’s, those are dubious. This was bought in Detroit, it certainly looks it’s age and it has two stamps, Bell Sound and one I can’t make out. Visually it’s only vg with all the attributes of a record never kept in a sleeve, plays wise, it’s bloomin brilliant, both sides, barely a click. Label has some wear on the raised parts but no writing. A seriously rare record and it’s not even in Manships price guide.
