played at Wigan Casino in '77 ish....original format 'aint got no love' by Van McCoy from Friends LP, but DR sounds a different mix, I'm told Simon Soussan lifted the the track and wiped the vocals? but is the inst track a different mix? maybe using the 'soul fox strings' or is it orig track with additions? speeded up? what? was DR ever booted? does it exist on Vinyl, is it comped on a Cd? knowing SS penchant for commercial gain why did he not inc a vocal version or the van McCoy vocal on the acetate he presumably sent to Russ Winstanley..i hope Ian Dewhirst or other can answer the puzzle...

Not on this one I'm afraid. I think was covered in a thread from a few years back though.......

Funilly enough, I have a contact who deals with S.S.S. regularly so I'll do a bit of digging and see what I can glean......
