I was watching an interview on 'The Strangeness of Northern Soul' who said that in the 70's there was a time when you could get a pair of trousers made at the Casino, measured up by midnight, pick them up at 8. Does anybody know anything about this?

Spencer.s(Baggy trousers) did have a stall on the balcony ,close to the entrance to MR.m,s ,where they sold their trousers --but these were ready made-----i think you must have misunderstood when someone said to you --"You could order gear and pick it up the same night,on the balcony!!!!"--

Carnaby street london 1977 made 2 mesure. flaps buttons pockets etc etc.ready in apprx 4 to 5 hours 15kwid. my first and best pair were from blues and soul mag 1976 dark brown corduroy 9.50p (of the peg)
