August 19, 200519 yr Andy Smith - The Document III (Click me) Opinions?? link Looks all good to me. But then I'm not a "proper" soulie cos I'm into house music, disco, hip hop, dancehall and other stuff - tho my first love is soul and anthing with soul. So given that my palatte is slightly more catholic than many others on this foum I reckon this mix looks all good. Andy Smith has also recorded with another fella (can't remember his name) under the guise of "Dynamo Productions" and put together 3 party rocking old school breaks EPs that always get a spin when I'm playing out.
August 19, 200519 yr It's alright, no great shakes obviously I like a lot of this mixed up stuff - nice to stick on in the car when you're going places - you easily tire of it mind I prefer the Soulsavers + 45midgets mixes over Smith, though Smith is better than David Holmes.... DJ Shadow's 'Product Placement' is good too, albeit funkier. And DJ Format too. Shit, there's loads of them
