A 1980 release on T Jaye Records 776, that could sound to many very mid seventies. Throughout the eighties having owned a copy on T Jaye, I never heard it played in the modern rooms, that I attended. It laid silent like copies of David Sea "Angel" T Jaye 782, which was previously outed on Hy Tyde.

So was this T Jaye 776 Ted Jarrett, L Johnson, M Johnson, C Marshall showcased on a previous label or a Philly reworking.

Sorry, I can't answer your question but I do know that the 12 is in serious demand amongst disco/funk collectors - certainly wouldn't mind a copy myself!!

Thanks Malayka and Steve, and I would agree a fantastic record, unaware of a 12" edit copy. I am not suprised to read that this tune has regular outings throughout europe, with there acceptance for good music, open decking and a total disreguard for musical divisions, so unlike the UK mainland. Thanks and great to read you are playing this 45" Malayka.
