Just noticed that the issue ( not the bootleg copy!!) does not have the 'Nashville matrix' stamp but the demo has.
Can anyone shed any light on this apparent difference?

hi julian, thanks for the scans.

on the stanley mitchell, the issue has a raised "X" similar to shrine records and that indicates shelley records (a "cheap" record maker i have been told from val ) from new york probably hence the styrene. but as for the nashville mains, could it even be a different mix or re-recording of the same tune as the run out grooves look bigger on the better quality vinyl demo. because , as im sure you are aware that these stamps are done on the plates. sadly for years as a youngster i thought that a little man played every one and scratched it in if they were ok....................................................anyone know any different....................

Dynamo used more than one pressing plant for several of their releases.

The styrene raised X plant from Long Island NY.

The vinyl Nashville Mains plant.

Also the styrene West coast Monarch records.
