So its being released legitimately on a UK label? Which one and by who? The white label "test press" is legal as well then?

In light of recent events a lot of people may jump to conclusions! I would imagine as with all 45 releases a test pressing is made to check audio quality etc, so it could be a grey area to sell a test pressing or promo copy as they will not be included in the calculation for publishing royalties, but good luck to someone who is risking their money to release product in the current financial crisis.
