PETER HODGKINSON - "BIG HODGE" - A SAD, SAD DAY

As a lot of you will already know, Peter Hodgkinson from Crewe,

better known to everybody as "BIG HODGE", died last Thursday in hospital.

His funeral is being held tomorrow,

Thursday 19th August at Crewe Crematorium at 2pm.

I'm sure i can speak for everyone when i say what a truly nice guy Hodge was.

A big guy, for sure, in every sense of the word.

His sheer love for life, for his wife and family, for the music and soul scene that was so important to him, and for those of us lucky enough to be his friends,

will never be equalled.

He will be surely missed.

I would just like to say to his wife and family that our hearts and prayers

are with you all.... now and always.

Lots of Love and God Bless,

Joan xxx

Like Jaon has said 'its a sad day' , we were only with BIG HODGE a few weeks ago at his wedding anaversary meal & the next thing you know one of the original caracters from our scene and a very good friend had gone and left us for that great dance hall in the sky.

Like Hodge always said to me "when my times is up I'm taking my Skoda with me"

he loved that car as much as his wife and family, who are hearts go out too.

BIG HODGE A FRIEND TO THE END - ALREADY MISSED
