Is Northern Soul addictive....or maybe it it just appeals to people with 'obsessive compulsive diorders'
Couple of examples:
Local lad now has something like 12 different cover versons of Bettye Swann "Make Me Yours"
He's also collecting Bettye Swann's version as released in different counteries.
Another mate paid about £250 in cash and swaps for a british northern soul record by a white artist.
He'd been chasing it for a while and the dealer had a mint copy. He only buys mint.
My comments were "Well I hope you got a good deal" His reply was "No I was putty in his hands"
Any thoughts?
