What came first Chollo Rivera - I Could Never Hurt You Girl (Cotique 149) or this version - Innkeepers Band - I Could Never Hurt You Girl (Big John 101) got to say never heard the latter until tonite & what a smooth moover it is

never seen the label before either? Does anyone know anything about this & no toilet humour please!

i can't believe they call the label Big John, have a picture of a toilet on it & you're asking people for no toilet humor :D

I found this when I lived in Texas, this is the original as far as I'm aware. I've never seen/heard of another copy and I've owned this for at least 20 years now :) it was the label that drew me to it originally :)

Thanks for the reply deepdown I think Chollo Rivera & The Latin Soul Drives on Cotique was from '68 is there no clue as to what year the Innkeepers Band released their version?

The Innkeeper Band on the left front and center is Big John and to the right center is David Trevino, Big John as in the Big John Record Label.
