November 13, 200519 yr Yeah great film mate. Fascinating watching Don King in action, he talks so fast, schmoozing people etc. Staggering scale of event in Zaire of all places, they had to fight at four in the morning or something, in order for the US audience to tune in. Millions of dollars involved. Amazing result with Ali taking a pasting til he pounced (or should that be stung) in order to win the fight. Incredible, just like Liston, although I believe that one was fixed. Edited November 13, 200519 yr by Ian Sims
November 13, 200519 yr Author Not that I was there, but the film seems to capture the whole madness of the event, which due to cancellations appeared to last almost 2 months. I particularly liked the white concert promoter, who appeared to be completely out of it. Edited November 13, 200519 yr by Soulsmith

Young, loads a dough, in a foreign country, entourage acceptance etc. I know we a bit biased and it was estensibly about Ali and Foreman, but could of done with showing a bit more footage of the music. Saw little of BB King and so called 'Gofdather of Soul' James Brown. Edited November 13, 200519 yr by Ian Sims
