Interesting he said it was on it's way to being a Billboard hit until the record company went out of business so must have sold well yet it still goes for a few quid, funny old game.

Yep thought that myself, apparently was popular with local Buffalo NY residents according to some blurb I remember reading somewhere (was it Ady's sleevenotes on that Swan CD?) - and I suppose also the fact he's still singing it now suggests it was a local hit once upon a time!
