Up for offer are these three rareties/ obscurities. As they all seem pretty rare and rather interesting, I'll ask for your offers. Please PM me or send a mail to scandirecords@hotmail.com
Reo Lane: "I Need you"/ "Give me your love" on Bren Records (AR-1M0005/AR-10006). Vinyl is M-, Labels are very clean. "Give me your love" is the track here and was a Mecca-spin back in 1976 and as far as I understand also on The Staford All-niters in the 80ies. A really rare and smooth X-over/ modern soul track.
Please listen to "Give me your love" from the actual disc:
The Rice Brothers: "Follow the Leader"/ "Soul Food" on Power-House Records (101). Vinyl is EX, due to a small surface scratch on the A-side that does not affect play in any way. Clean labels. 1960's Northern/ RnB stomper. Penned and produced by William Powell - the guy who gave us the northern soul masterpiece "Heartache Souveneir" released on the same small running label. "Follow the Leader" is difinitely the track here, and could really work the floor well in the right hands.
Please listen to "Follow the Leader" from the actual disc:
Larry Santos: "No Podemos Ocultarlo (We can't Hide it Anymore)/ Lover on El Salvadorian Casablance (CB-2001) from 1970's..Vinyl is strong VG+. Label is VG, due to "Any" written on the A-side that is not the track "Lover". You want this 7" for the B-side, which was an US LP release only. Seems like the El Salvadorian release are the only way to get "Lover" on 7".
